Recycling and Garbage

The Town of Baldwin contracts with Murtha Sanitation for garbage and recycling collection. Garbage and Recycling collection is at the Town building at 90th Ave. and 240th St., with the entrance on 240th St.

Each residence in the Town of Baldwin is assessed $60.00 on their Tax Bill for garbage collection, which is mailed to every residence on the Tax Roll mid-December. The $60.00 assessment provides you with 3 punch cards, with each punch card good for 20 punches, and each punch is for 1 bag of garbage. You must present your card to be punched when bringing garbage to the collection site. The Town pays for collection of recyclables. Acceptable recycling items go in a separate dumpster at the Town site. Recycled items must be clean!

Garbage and Recyclables can be brought to the Town location on Wednesdays, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. If a Wednesday collection date falls on a Holiday, a Notice of the date change will be placed on this Website and posted at the Town Hall.
